Nice story. Last year a guy at Maui Dive Shop went above and beyond when Ron had an issue with his dive mask.
When Ron saw him again yesterday, he decided to bring him a bottle of rum in thanks… Let’s just say the guy was very surprised!!

Jon and Jane are visiting from NJ and wanted to take a Maui bike adventure.

We weren’t looking for hills, but the winds added a little extra workout for us. Luckily, the sun stayed tucked away as we headed into the shadow of the West Maui Mountains.

Homemade pasta is a great reward.

Besides pasta, we enjoyed baked chicken plate lunch in the valley.

Jason and cousin Carly are here on Maui and we visited “Jaws” to see the huge waves that have caused a bunch of surf advisories this week. We only saw one surfer out there.

All set!! Carly and Jason got bike rentals and are ready to go….

The guys spotted this teasel cucumber (gourd). Jason broke it open and tried it, but said it tasted terrible. So far, he is still alive.

These are some pretty nice smiles, considering that we were leaving Maui Brewing, where we got no beer… they were closed (Friday happy hour!) because of a private event. We were told we should’ve checked the website… Losers.
