Bikes and walking only

first stop.. The east river and the Manhattan Bridge

I told him if he makes it up the willismanburg bridge ge would get a surprise.

We boogie down the bridge to world famous Economy Candy…

to collect his reward.

Windy, both directions

Beautiful spring day. The winds have kicked up, and are hitting us from the side, but we’re so happy to be out riding.

Wallkill River flowing north.

Destination: Quaker Creek Store.
It’s just over 12 miles from our house, and it’s famous for its Polish food and for a spotlight on Anthony Bourdain’s show.

Settling in for a tasty mid-ride lunch.

Sometimes the smallest things can make someone smile. I found a quarter and gave it to this girl.
Afterwards, Ron and I wondered what you can get for a quarter. When we were kids, you could buy a candy bar or a pack of gum with a quarter, but today…
