August doldrums… (ha!)
In helping our friend Derek celebrate his 30th birthday, we joined his mom Barb in drinking champagne out of an ice bucket…
There was a line for pizza at 3:40am. We used the NYC Citi-bikes to get there.
We biked to the park to get baby hugs from Noah.
Overlooking the lake in Central Park.
After walking around the Metropolitan Museum of Art with Jesse and Caryn, we stopped for some chocolate refreshments…
On one recent evening we biked to Long Island City to meet up with Nina, Martin and Noah, and cousin Kelli too (not pictured).
NYC Summer Streets… Park Avenue was closed from 72nd St all the way down to the Brooklyn Bridge. We ran into our old friend Chris who was volunteering for the event.
The fun started at 7am, and the street was wide open…!
Just another Saturday morning where we’re at the Brooklyn Bridge by 8am (!)
Back in NJ: Heidi and Noah… the baby is a natural swimmer. He loved it!
And finally, in remembrance:
it’s been one year since Juan Carlos passed away…..
