We are both loaded up and ready to go…!
(Due to the high winds we were going to borrow our friends Joe & Linda’s car, but you know, this blog keeps me from reverting to lazy behavior.. )

First mission:
Mail a happy card to my Great Aunt Ann & Great Uncle Jr. in Illinois.
Second Mission:
Drop off food to St Theresa Church, where the Hale Kau Kau serves dinner to the hungry and the homebound every day of the year.
Hitting the highway bike path. The winds got really crazy here… sustained 30mph headwinds. Weeeeee.
Break 1: a quick stop at Target for coffee
Heading to the un-sunny side of Maui…
Second Mission:
Pick up an Rx and batteries at Walmart.
Third Mission:
We biked to Time Warner cable to return our cable boxes.
(They have great customer service and don’t mind if you sign up for just three months at a time).
Break 2: a stop at Maui Pasta for Ron’s favorite fettuccine alfredo.
Heading up the hill towards Waikapu.
Break 3: we really love the food on Maui, so we were interested to try Maui’s 2015 best chef at The Mill House.
Very creative menu (coffee roasted beets with lemongrass coconut cream and espresso streusel?), but we were sorely disappointed with all three dishes we ordered.
After 32 miles, we got back home, showered and went to a dinner party with friends Lorna, Murray, Claire & Terry.
They served us homemade Coho Salmon Wellington… yum, amazing.
What a day!
Seems like a great but busy day. Looks like you are going home! Another year…so many memories. Safe travels, Y
Yes, so many memories, and so many new friends from BC!
Thanks for all the great photos.
