It's always a fun day when you're going to the DMV!

It’s always a fun day when you’re going to the DMV!

I've got my paperwork together. (Not shown, real estate bill and cable bill). Even though we are permanent New York residents, as Maui homeowners we can get Hawaii state IDs, which makes us eligible for Kama'aina rates.. discounts that are given to residents.

Victory! We are temporarily official. (The real IDs will be mailed to us in a week or two).

After just one bike ride back for another utility billĀ /eye roll/, we are official!
(Permanent IDs will be mailed to us in a week or two).
