It’s always a fun day when you’re going to the DMV!
I’ve got my paperwork together. (Not shown: proof of paid property taxes and a utility bill).
Even though we are permanent New York residents, as Maui homeowners we can get Hawaii state IDs, which make us eligible for Kama’aina rates.. discounts that are given to residents.
After just one bike ride back for another utility bill /eye roll/, we are official!
(Permanent IDs will be mailed to us in a week or two).
