Bruce & Linda came into NYC for a visit today.
We biked from Manhattan to Queens over the 59th St Bridge, then from Queens to Brooklyn over the Pulaski Bridge, pictured here. Below in Newtown Creek (a superfund site) we saw schools of fish swimming. None seemed to have two heads.
We brunched at Bakeri in Greenpoint. Loose leaf tea, soft scrambled eggs, kale salad and smoked whitefish.
The weather was so nice, we ate outside!
We visited Jacques Torres for yummy hot chocolate in DUMBO, then admired the view of Manhattan.
This is the Brooklyn Bridge approach, heading back to Manhattan. Iconic and breathtaking. Every time.

Although we were already discussing dinner plans, Ron had to stop for a dirty water dog appetizer!
