Hey folks you are sorely missed, but pleased to see you are enjoying your summer. We are as well; the weather has been most cooperative and we have taken the opportunity to explore new places to bike. If only we could coerce you two to visit us before snow starts flying again.
Regrettably, it looks like New Year’s in Savannah is not going to happen. Everyone here has tried to make it work but life seems to be getting in the way. For Shirley and I, it is the arrival of my step-son Chris and his wife scheduled right at the Holidays. This will be the first time in 2 years to see him and naturally Shirley wants to be around as much as possible. We have been trying to arrive at a backup plan, perhaps somewhere closer (Asheville or maybe Cashier’s, Highlands) but nothing concrete as of yet.
In the meantime, don’t forget about us. There’s a lot of people here that would love to see you anytime, so if traveling to the Carolinas is on your agenda, please consider a stop here. Actually, we wish we could have you as neighbors but by the look of it, we would be making a lot of people angry up your way. So visit!!! -b.
