- Our friend Horatiu came from NYC for a Kauaian holiday.

Rough surf on the north shore stopped the boys on this particular day, but they later found an awesome snorkeling spot on the south shore near Poipu.

We showed Horatiu a great farmers’ market in Kapa’a. This time we were adventurous… jackfruit, sour sop, egg fruit, rambutans, apple bananas, papaya and taro mochi cake too.

A little rain didn’t deter us from riding. And we were rewarded.
The boys found some of the best fruit right on the side of the road…delicious, ripe Clementines. Sweet!
Unreal. Glad you are still venturing. We are in Mesa en route to Yuma, Yvonne and steve
Woo hoo! Keep finding new adventures!!
Looks like so much fun! Especially the cave! Love spelunking! And the fruit looks delicious! Hello to Horatio!
By the way, did you hear about the year long investigation, and subsequent bust (the night before the Super Bowl), of the sex trade ring that was operating in the Vogue? Angela assures me all is well, so no worries!
Enjoy Hawaii!! Doug and I miss you!
What?! That’s crazy.
Wish you were here!
How was the jack fruit? We haven’t been able to find it lately.
Well….. We three were not huge fans. Smelled like Juicyfruit, but with a hint of onion?! The papaya is awesome here, and the rambutans too. Wish you could do a tasting with us..!
